  • Maker Camp is run by the Rame Conservation Trust. The charity was established to preserve for the benefit of the people of the Rame Peninsula and of the nation at large, the historical, architectural and constructional heritage that exists in and around Maker Heights.

    We are non-profit making, with all of the money received from the campsite being re-invested into to the Trust. 

    We operate a 'wild camping' site with all the essentials. This season, we have invested in new shower and washing facilities, along with a new reception reception area.

    This flexible campsite caters for tents and backpackers, and offers generously sized pitches. With no hard standings all our pitches are grass.

    Here you will find an area of natural beauty, quiet secluded beaches, magnificent scenery and spectacular walks. Wander along this rugged stretch of the South West Coast Path, on the edge of the campsite, or head off to the beach at Kingsand and Cawsand for some fun on the beach. With numerous beaches, beautiful coves, fishing villages, villages and local attractions only a short walk away, you’re bound to find that special place to call your own.

    Cawsand Regatta Weekend

    FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY, GIGS, GIGS and more GIGS!!  A spectacle of Gigs from teams all around the country racing in Cawsand Bay.
