There’s no better place to blow away the cobwebs than at Maker Camp! Our campsite team are looking forward to welcoming you during the 2022 season.

Once again, we’re having to do things differently this year. To fit with government safety guidelines in the light of COVID-19 we are drastically restricting the number of camping pitches. We shall be using our Moor View field for all camping this year. This field is located close to the main campsite facilities and has fantastic panoramic views across the Tamar River and beyond to the moors.

To ensure the safety of our campsite visitors we will be doing the following:

– Ensuring that our campsite staff are fully trained in COVID-19 safety measures

– Spacing camping pitches to allow appropriate social distancing

– Adopting an intensive cleaning regime for showers toilets and other facilities

– Providing basic foods and other provisions on-site

– Providing sanitising stations at all critical points around the site

We will be giving priority for bookings to members of Rame Conservation Trust and we will also be giving any member a 10% discount on their bookings for this year.  Membership is just £10 per year.  If you would like to join the Trust today ….

Families : Don’t forget we don’t charge for Children under 16

Please note

  • All our pitches will be marked out for this season; giving a generous 10×10 metres per pitch and spaced 10 metres apart.
  • This year our maximum pitch occupancy must not exceed 6 people; including a maximum of 4 adults. If the customer exceeds these limits they may be required to leave the site or pay for an additional pitch if available.
  • One unit per pitch, we will allow an additional pup tent (maximum 2x2m) but if you have 2 full size tents you must book 2 separate pitches.

Educational Groups : We always look forward to welcome our educational groups throughout the year; please contact our receptions team to discuss how we could accommodate you this year.

We are mindful of the environment and our eco footprint and do not offer electric hook-up or allow generators on site.

To help protect the peaceful nature of our site, we have a ‘no noise’ request between the hours of 11.00pm and 8.00am. Please note you will also need to bring torches with you as the only lighting is situated around the toilet and shower block.
